Men's And Ladies Island Cruisers This bike does not come with the baskets, although they are a popular option. This heavy duty cruiser has a 1 speed coaster brake, big 26" X 2.125 steel wheels with .120 Dia. spokes, white wall tires, polished steel fenders, a oversized saddle, and the popular junior hi rise handle bars. This off the shelf design is still a hand built bike, so allow about 5 weeks for it to be made, plus another week for shipping. This is a great riding bike and it can handle any road. It is a heavy duty cruiser, the factory rates it for a maximum rider weight of 250 lbs., but they say the limiting factor is the seat. The bike is stronger than that. So if you ask me what the maximum weight capacity is it will be 250 lbs. It should carry a 250 lb. rider for a long time. The wheels on this bike look like little motorcycle wheels, and one of our customers bought several sets of these wheels to make motor bikes with. If you need a really tough bike this baby will do the job. |
