Welcome to surfboard information.  Unless you come here in the spring, fall, or winter you won't see much surf.  We do get a little surf in the summer from time to time, and when one of the tropical storms moves by we get a lot.  A lot of people have always wanted to try surfing, and if we have surf while you are here you can rent a board and try it. If you have never surfed, pick a day when the surf is about 1-1/2 feet.  You don't want to try it the first time in big surf.

Stand up paddle boarding is just getting started here, and I guess we are always a little behind the curve here. Most things start out in California, or Hawaii, but they eventually get here. When they do get here the local folks usually embrace anything new and get into it big time. Next year Paddle surfing will be a big sport.
