The wheelchair is fastened securely to he platform with 4 nylon straps. The ramps fold down at the rear to load the wheelchair. There is a kickstand at the rear that prevents the platform from tipping up while the chair is being loaded.
The platform has brakes on the rear wheels to prevent the platform from moving during loading operations.
