Get A Quality Seat For Your Sit On Top Kayak
Surf to Summit seats on this page employ a patented technology that compresses industrial grade fabric, polyethelene sheet, and foam into a integral unit. The result is a seat that provides extreme comfort and outstanding durability. We have sold Surf to Summit accessories since we first started our business. We have used them ourselves in our rental kayaks and got years of use from them in the rental environment.
The GTS series seats are the top of the line, and employ a 6 point adjustment system that is easily adjusted to provide maximum comfort and convenience. These seats also feature a removable pack. There are packs for fishing, touring, and fun. The dry bag pack will keep cell phones, GPS units, and binoculars dry. There is a hydration pack that has a handy dispenser tube for water when you need it. The extra packs can be purchased separately.
You will see an option in the shopping cart that asks you to select a seat connector option. If you have an old style Ocean Kayak that has straps that connect to the seat select the Plastic Buckles Option. If you have a fairly new Ocean, or other manufacturers kayak, you should select the Brass Connectors option.

The seats above are the same expedition seat equipped with a different pack. The expedition seats are designed for kayaks with a roomy cockpit, such as the Ocean Kayak Prowler Big Game, Drifter, or one of the Malibu Two models. All of these seats feature an 18" tall padded back with a 18" wide bottom. The bottom has 2" thick padding. This is a great seat. Since it is made for wider kayaks be sure to measure your cockpit before ordering. If the expedition is too wide for your kayak you can use the EXpedition SB, below as it is only 14" wide at the bottom.

The Expedition SB seats feature the same extreme comfort back, but with a narrower bottom, 14" wide. It has the same 18" tall padded back. The seat bottom is 1" thick, and should fit most kayaks. It would be a good idea to measure the seat well of your kayak to be sure. The seats in the photo are all the same, except each is equipped with a different removable pack. Extra packs can be purchased separately.

The GTS Pro sereies is designed with the angler in mind. The seat back is 15" high, which enables you to reach over the seat easily to get gear or tackle. The seat bottom is 2" thick for all day comfort. This seat also has the 6 point adjustment system. The seat bottom is 18" wide and was designed for the larger cockpits of some of the new kayaks. The seat will accept the various packs shown above. The packs can be ordered separately if you need two or more pack styles.

If you already have a GTS Elite, Airwave, Expedition, Expedition SB, or Pro, you can buy one of these packs to incrase your kayaks utility. For instance, if you purchased a seat with a standard pack and you want to fish from your kayak, you could order the fishing pack and have a fishing seat. These packs will not work on the GTS Sport seats.

The GTS Elite Seats feature generous foam padding, the 6 point seat adjustment system, and Surf to Summits famous molded technology to provide superior performance and comfort. This seat features a special purpose removable pack. One pack has provisions for two rod holders, plus a storage pack, the water bottle pack has pockets for two water bottles. The hydration pack has a removable bladder with a tube and valve so you can get a drink easily. The standard pack has a nice roomy pouch to store essential gear.

The GTS Sport seat will accomodate any sized paddler, but provides excellent back support for smaller paddlers. It comes with a built in zipper pouch attached to the seat back. The seat back is 12-1/2", and this seat will mold itself to each paddlers body providing a custom fit. The seat has brass clips at the 4 attaching points. This is an excellent value for the money, and is superior to most seats by other manufacturers.
