Our Mission Is Fun

 

Island Sports Shop operated a local surf shop and rental business in the Destin area for years. As a result we have personally field tested most of the products we sell, and have benefitted from the direct feedback of our customers. We also got a lot of enjoyment serving our customers and watching their children grow up as surfers or kayakers.

 We aren't a huge corporation, our's is a family business, right now Emma and I are the only full time employees, but we hope to have our oldest son and his family with us soon.

Our site is kinda low tech, we have put all of our effort into trying to make our site user friendly, and in providing all of the information we felt you would need to make buying decisions.  We have also added some extra features we hope you will enjoy. The large text is for those folks like myself who have to squint to read.

Internet sales have always been an important part of our business.  We have discontinued our local business and now devote all of our efforts to serving our online customers, like yourself.

If you don't have a local sporting goods dealer for the products we sell, consider us your local dealer.  We can provide technical advice and help, and we will work hard to please you.  Feel free to contact us for advice or for help with any problem.  We aren't discounters, we sell good products at a reasonable price, and provide great service.

If you are a local resident you can purchase our products on line as well.  Our local customers are scattered from Pensacola to Panama City.  Just give us a call.
