Our Mission Is Fun
Encouragement for Travelers
If you are worried about the threat of terrorism, do something about it! The terrorists want us to hunker down in our homes, and fear for our lives. They want us to plead with our own government to give in to their demands.
Everyone experiences things that strike terror in their hearts, and daily fears that nag us and drag us down. During the second world war, the people of Great Britton experienced daily bombing raids, along with fears for the safety of their loved ones overseas. They admonished one another to "Keep a stiff upper lip", to stand strong, knowing that good would prevail in the end.
We find much comfort and strength in trusting the Lord to handle those things we have no control over. David, one of the kings of Israel, has best summed up what God's help can mean to everyone, in the twenty third psalm. "Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me."
That help and protection doesn't just last for one trip, it is forever.
