We figure buying a kayak is a complicated enough experience, that you should talk to a real live person, to be sure you get the kayak you had in mind.
Shipping Information
When you order a boat from us, the price includes shipping, in the lower 48 U.S. states, except for a $40.00 fee for residential delivery, and state sales tax if you live in florida. You can avoid the residential delivery fee if we can ship your boat to a commercial address. Ocean Kayak is pretty flexible with commercial addresses, and we have shipped boats to roadside produce stands, barber shops, beauty shops, golf courses, gasolene stations, schools, big corporations, and one bar and grill. If you want your boat shipped to your residence just add $40.00 to our price.
Prices
Our price on some lower priced kayaks is slightly higher than other prices you may see. Please keep in mind that the higher price is due to freight charges, which our competition charges for those cheaper boats as well. The shipping cost for all the other boats is paid by us, which amounts to a hefty discount for you. In addition you should check out our Pro Accessory Package, and our Budget Accessory Package. There is also a special free seat back offer on many ocean kayak models. Except for the side kick, the boats that come with the free seat back show the seat back in the photo. The photo of the sidekick shows two seat backs, but it only comes with one. Last year they furnished a kids seat back with this boat, but this year you only get the one adult seat back.
Warranty Information
Ocean kayaks are warranteed for 3 years for the original consumer purchaser. Boats used for livery, rentals, and demonstrations are warranteed for 30 days, and 90 days. This boat is the angler version of the extremely popular Malibu Two XL. It is available with two optional oval hatches, which are sure to please the river adventurers, and other folks who need to carry a bit of gear. Here it is ladies, all you have been asking for! The Venus is designed from the stem up especially for women. You ride higher and dryer as the seat is raised to accomadate women's shorter arms, and lower center of gravity. This kayak has side carry handles in addition to the bow and stern toggle handles, and comes with the basic seat back. You can pick your kayak up by the side handles to assist in loading it on the car top, or carry it balanced with one side handle. This is a really neat boat. Some of the other Ocean Kayaks have cockpits that are a bit snug for larger paddlers. This boat has a very generous cockpit, and a 34" width that should provide excellent stability. One of the guys who works for our distributor has one, and he is very pleased with it. The Drifter comes with a large bow hatch, and a rear tank well which should also please the kayak fishermen. The product photo we have shows the hatch cover protruding above the deck, the actual boat has the top of this hatch about flush with the deck. Looks really nice.

The Sidekick has been designed with your fishing buddy in mind. It has an extra seat position designed to
accommodate small children and pets. Ocean Kayak no longer supplies the child seat, however, the childs position has a molded in seat. The large tank well will carry a scuba tank, small cooler, live well, or what have you. You can also carry a second scuba tank on the center console in a pinch. Notice the 6" hatch on the console, and the molded in cup holder, standard features for this boat. It also has side mounted carry handles, and bungee deck rigging for the tank well. The two V shaped bungee's on the right side are paddle keepers, and it also comes with side mounted carry handles.

Ocean Kayak Peekaboo, Only $889.00
The Peekaboo is one of the new kayaks for the 2008 season, and was designed to carry an adult and a small passenger. This is just the boat to introduce your child to the joys of kayaking, and the wonders of the marine environment. I suspect that it is also going to make a hit with fishermen as well. It has a clear window in the bottom of the boat so you can see what is below. When I saw this kayak I remembered the wife and I exploring Crystal Springs in one of their glass bottom boats. We saw lots of big black catfish. At 11'-11" The Peekaboo will be fairly fast, and it has a 34" width, which will provide good stability. A really interesting kayak.

The wife and I both love the Frenzy. It's good manners make it a good boat for little kids, or folks who have never kayaked before. It is a real joy to paddle in flat water, but it isn't real fast due to it's 9' length. However, it can take big water, and does good in the surf. Folks the lads size above can surf it. We use some Frenzys in our rental fleet and like them real well. We have sold some locally to folks who use them for tenders for power boats.
Ocean Kayak has introduced a new kayak this year which is a stretched version of the Frenzy. This sounds like a great boat as it has all of the Frenzy's great qualities, but with an additional two feet or so in length. So if you like the Frenzy's qualities, but need more speed, click here!
