Baja Paddle Leashes For Kayak Fishing

The Baja Paddle leashes incorporate two of the bungee tubes plus a tough nylon outer cover, for extra strength. They come in a 36" length, and have a velcro strap on the paddle end and a loop on the other end. If your kayak has a grove under one of your accessory eyelets you can use it like the arrangemment in the photo. If your kayak does not have that feature you can use the carabiner which is included.

Note 1. Not all kayaks have the grove below the accessory eyelet, as the kayak above has (Photo above, left). If your kayak does not have this groove you will have to use a carabiner. Just make the loop on the carabiner as above, and clip the carabiner into the accessory eyelet. See the basic leash below. Carabiners also can be found in the hardware section, or you can select it in the shopping cart.

The Basic Paddle Leash is suitable for lakes and slow moving rivers, and is 40 " long. It comes with a carabiner for attaching one end to the boat, and a velcro strap for the paddle end. The Extreme Paddle leash has an extra bungee tube for added strength and is rated for up to class 2 rapids.
