The Prowler 13 was the hottest, fastest selling boat in the Ocean Kayak lineup last year. Almost every boat we sold last year was back ordered, and the customer had to wait for it to come off the production line.
The prowler 13 is also available with a factory installed rudder.
The Prowler 13 is a great all around kayak. At 13 feet 4 inches it is long enough to be fairly fast and very manouverable. It is short enough, and light enough, that one person can load it on a car fairly easily. It has good stability, and the ocean kayak scuppers, which make the cockpit self bailing. A seaworthy craft indeed. You will appreciate it's good manners and utility. Take a look at the boat below. You get the seat, a 6" screw in hatch, drink holder, cargo netting, and a big bow hatch. Notice the paddle clips on either side of the seat, and the side mounted carry handles. There is even a clip for maps, or your small tackle box.
