The Frenzy is a great all around design. It is one of the most docile and user friendly of all of our Kayaks, and it does very well in rough water, tracks well, and is a very maneuverable, solo sit on top.
We have used the Frenzy as a rental boat, and while the wife and I now have a scupper classic and a scupper pro, the Frenzy is still a family favorite.
Our grandchildren love it, and feel comfortable in it.

The Frenzy is one of the first kayaks Ocean Kayak made, and has been a favorite of everyone who has ever tried one. It has great stability, excellent maneuverability, and good weight carrying capacity. We have sold them to adults, children, and folks who have used them for tenders for power boats. It's only short coming was that it was pretty slow, being only 9' long. Ocean kayak has introduced a stretched version this year called the Scrambler 11, and you can check that out if you have a need for speed.
