The caper is very similar in design to the Drifter, but is smaller and leaner. The Drifter was designed for larger paddlers, and had great stability and load carrying capacity. The Caper is a smaller version designed for average size paddlers, but still retains most of the Drifters desirable features; stability, manouverability, and good storage capacity. It is a good boat for river exploring, camping expeditions, and general use.
