Kayak accessories are relatively cheap. Well made accessories will last for years and provide endless enjoyment. If your back hurts the whole time you are out paddling, a good seat may relieve the pain and let you enjoy those fleeting moments when you are one with nature. That comfort can be had at a modest price. If you can spend many hours in your kayak you may want to spend that little bit extra for ultimate comfort and convenience. The Tallback seats provide superior back support at a bargain price. If you want to try kayak fishing try the Tall Back Fishing Seat. You get the seat with 2 attached rod holders for only 120.00.
The tall back seats are 17-1/2" tall, about 5-1/2" taller than the Hi Tech seats. I don't think they add much restriction to your ability to paddle, and they do provide more back support than the Hi Tech seats.

Important Information: When you buy a seat you will be asked to select a connection option at check out. You can buy these seats with a plastic buckle on back, which connects to older style Ocean Kayaks, or brass clips which fit most other kayaks. if you have an old Ocean Kayak with the nylon straps to attach seats you should select buckles, if not select brass clips.
