We are truly blessed who live in florida. We can ride our bikes the year around. It is a bit more challenging here in north florida as we get some of florida's cooler weather. Even here it is possible to ride year around; with a light jacket on some winter days perhaps. Riding a real bike is far superior in my estimation, to riding an exercise bike.

The exercise bike is just a chore you have to work past. On a real bike you can enjoy the outdoors, passing scenery, and things that are happening around you. The time seems to fly by. Riding is still almost as much fun as it was when you were a kid. My favorite times to ride are early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Traffic is light and it is quieter.
