Folding Tandem
The folding tandem is designed for the tandem rider who wants a bike he can load on the back of his car. Fold it up, load it on your rear mounted rack, and go. This bike will also fit in many SUVs. This is a compact tandem, with 20" wheels. It is not a heavy duty cruiser, but is a sturdy, long lasting, good riding tandem.

This tandem also comes with a heavy duty chain. A good riding tandem that will last for years. If you live in a retirement community like lady lakes here in florida this can be your favorite means of transportation.

The folding tandem is available with a single speed coaster brake, and also in 3 and 7 speed versions. The folding tandem comes with a front caliper brake also. Standard colors are: Racing Red, and Mercury Electric Blue. Directions for customizing your folding tandem are below.

	Worksman 20" Folding Tandem The folding tandem comes standard with whitewall tires and front caliper brake. It is a sporty looking little tandem, and is great for getting two people to parades and outdoor concerts where traffic is a big problem. When you get there you have something to sit on.

Customizing Your Worksman Folding Tandem To Fit Your Needs

Specifying the components of your own folding tandem is very easy. Don't worry about messing up the shopping cart, and don't worry you won't be charged until you are ready. If you just want to try a practice run feel free to do so.

Standard colors are: Gloss Black, Mercury Electric Blue, Racing Red. Optional colors are:Safety Orange, Safety Yellow, Putting Green, Polar White, Seafoam Teal, LA Lavender, Bubble Pink, Midnight Blue.

About The Upgrade Options

The Alloy Wheels With Stainless Steel Spokes Are A
good choice if corrosion is a problem in your area. This is an upgrade over the standard steel wheels and spokes.

White Wall Tires are the standard option, but you may elect to get puncture resistant tubes, if punctures are a problem where you ride. You can also choose the tire liners, which ad even more puncture protection.

Normally your crank bearings willl need to be re-packed every couple of years or so as dust and water may collect there. The sealed crank bearings will last for years as they are sealed against water and dust contamination, and run smoother as well.

You can add the small front basket if you wish. This will help you carry gear such as rain suits, tools, and even picnic lunches.

Remember this is a custom bike. Allow 5 weeks for construction, and one week for delivery.
