Selecting The Drive Train For Your Bike
The drive train determines how many speeds your bike has, and the type of brakes. The single speed coaster brake is the standard option, and is furnished at no extra charge. If you ride in an area that is pretty flat 1 speed will work fine. If it is a little hilly 3 speeds may be required. If there are a lot of hills you might want to think about 7 speeds. The one speed free wheel drive comes with front and rear drum brakes for extra heavy braking requirements. This type of drive is used on a 26 mile down hill run in Hawaii.
Just click "Step 1." and you will see the shopping cart appear. You can select the drive train you want in the shopping cart. Just click the continue shopping button when you are through. You will return to this page, and you can click the "Step 2." link.
As you select each system, the shopping cart will present the available options, along with the price for each option. That option price will be added to the base price of your bike.
If you select a 3 speed or seven speed model ask for a 36 tooth front sprocket for easier pedaling. (No Extra Cost) Click here to select sprocket size
When Finished Proceed To Step 2.
These are the most popular option upgrades for the heavy duty cruiser.
