Worksman Heavy Duty Cruiser CustomizingHow To Build Your Own Heavy Duty CruiserIt looks a bit challenging, but once you try it you will find that you can build your custom bike with no problem. The first thing is to pick a frame style. There are two styles the Retro Frame, which is the one with a curved top bar, and the Straight Frame, which has a straight top bar. The Retro Frame dates back to the early days of bicycle manufacturing. This frame measures 17-1/2" from the center of the pedal crank assembly, to the top of the seat post. The Straight Frame is a more modern frame, and is also a bit larger. It measures 20: from the center of the pedal crank assembly, to the top of the seat post. The seat post is the part of the frame where the seat attaches. The 20" Straight Frame fits men with a 32" inseam and up. The retro frame fits men with an inseam up to 31". |
