Malone STAX X Kayak Carrier The STAX X has an injection molded frame, and comes with universal mounting hardware. With two STAX X carriers you can transport two kayaks with your roof rack system. It comes with two 12' cam style buckled straps, and a lifetime warranty. This is Malones lowest priced hard rack carrier. It still has all of the durable Malone features you would expect. The only thing you give up is the ability to add one of the handy loading modules. If you have a light weight boat, or help with loading, this may be the rack for you. It is a big hit with budget minded kayakers everywhere. This carrier is reccomended for plastic boats only, and is not reccomended for composit or fiberglass boats.
